John obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Health Science from Mercy College. John also earned a Masters of Science in Exercie Physiology from Long Island University and a Bachelors of Arts from  Manhattan College. 

Current Specialty Certifications include Orthopedic Certified Specialist (ABPTS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA). John has held credentials as a Certified Health Fitness Specialist (ACSM) and Level I Club Coach Certification (USAW). Memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapists and the National Strength & Conditioning Association. 

While at Manhattan College John played four years of lacrosse for the Jaspers and two years of rugby for the Newark Shepards. John has completed two New York City Marathons, several duathlons, multiple half-marathons and has completed the Boston to New York AIDS bicycle ride. Personal interests include reading American and European History, collecting music, studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with his son and teaching himself how to play the electric guitar. John is a lifelong Hudson Valley resident and now lives in the area with his wife, two children and two dogs.
